When we first started looking into whether or not to vaccinate our children, we very quickly discovered that much of the information was biased. Our doctor insisted that vaccines were 100% safe, whilst the anti-vaccination lobby vigorously campaigned against childhood jabs. We discovered that both camps had often used the same piece of medical research to further their own arguments, and that scientific results had not always been presented fairly. We felt that there must be a middle ground, where common sense rather than propaganda, prevailed. Hence the book.
