VACCINATIONS YES OR NO ? |
Many of the diseases that we are protecting our children against are deadly, some are very serious but not fatal, and others are unpleasant but rarely have serious side effects. The vaccination programme has clearly been a factor in the reduction of the number of cases of childhood disease, but we, as parents, are now asking at what price has this been achieved?
Vaccinations - Yes or No? takes a common sense approach, and presents the facts from both camps – those in favour of vaccinations and those against. We look at the diseases themselves that we are trying to protect against - how deadly are they? Then we look at how effective the vaccines are; and what are their supposed side effects, as listed by the Government, by the vaccine manufacturers, by parents and by other scientific reports. And just how likely are these side effects?
There are alternatives to conventional immunisation, when dealing with childhood disease. None will protect against the disease themselves, but they may lessen the severity of the disease. Vaccinations – Yes or No? considers both the conventional and alternative approaches to immunisation.
